Title:
I can hardly imagine inviting special friends over for dinner
and then throwing a few leftovers into the microwave to serve up to them.
But if I were to do that,
it would speak volumes about how I really feel about them.
Giving God the leftovers of our lives
speaks volumes about His true worth to us.
Anyone can offer the leftovers.
Only those who love God more than anything else
will serve up the very best for Him. — Joe stowell.i woke up this morning with intension to just hurry clean the house
and jump online and surff the net, but than just outta blue i went to the
RBC daily devotions webbie and did my devotions-like Gods way of tellin me to do my devotions.. and as i read todays verse, it just struck me,
how many times do i give God my leftovers
in time, energy, concentration and my life.and how many times do i really give me
my all;just at services,youth/church camp? but than what happens to the rest
of the time,
God gave his all,no holding back,than i wonder,why am i holding back...
dear God,
forgive me for i have given you only my left overs
consume my life lord
